In 2001, Nintendo delivered the next generation of portable entertainment into the hands of eager gamers. The Game Boy Advance gives you 32-bit console-quality gaming in your pocket - and its bright, colourful and finger-intuitive design is still a classic. Two more versions of the Game Boy Advance were to follow, with the more compact clam shell design of the Game Boy Advance SP in 2003 and the sleek and stylish Game Boy Micro in 2005.

Gameboy Colour

Game Boy Colour was the ultimate evolution of the original Game Boy system. Released in 1998, Game Boy Colour added a colour display that allowed for a palette of over 32,000 colours. Game Boy Colour was compatible with hundreds of original Game Boy games, and also played games that were specially enhanced for Game Boy Colour (though it cannot play Game Boy Advance games). Game Boy Colour was available in many colours including Teal, Kiwi, Grape, Ice, Atomic Purple and the Green & Gold 'Limited Edition'.
